American made shot sells for 46 dollars 25 pounds foreign made 38 dollars.

I would sell it before I melt it. I just used some real old shot from a friend of mine, worked fine.  You can ship 2 x 25 lb bags in a flat rate box. Should not be hard to get dollar a pound plus the shipping

Instead of using a wire wheel to clean out the cast iron pot, I tipped the pot on it's side and used the oxy-acetylene torch to melt the majority of the crud out, and then oxidizied to dust the remaining part that had "tinned" itself to the pot's inside surface (in the open air outside of the building of course).

I used reprocessed shot for some years because it was easy to cast with and being cheap (I got it for free by the barrel). However, I always had leading problems with it and after the 1991 Coors Golden match where I started with the first OH target of 231 I got leading again and fell back to the low 200's I swore it off.
