Nice shooting.  That .40-65 barrel and action would make a nice midrange BPTR rifle.

Ken, that's some wonderful shooting. I like the setup at the bench, too. No flat fore end or butt. Hmmmm.... maybe it's the shooter!

Ken,
I may be looking for a 45 cal barrel later this year for a Rolling Block project.  Looking forward to the results you get.  If it works out as well as the 40-65, tell BRC to order some more 4140CM!

Looks like readable wind and that rifle are a great combination.

Ken,

Very nice targets, and great shooting. Like I always say, your targets speak very well of your barrels, and your shooting ability.

I also like that you usually manage to get some nice 'background' in a picture to tease me just a little. I sure would like to live in that same part of the country.

I can shoot targets like that all day once the rifle is sighted in, and I can maintain one holer's on every target. Provided of course I only use one shot per target,  Cheesy

Don't give up on your 22 rimfire barrel; the ammo you're using is one step above plinker grade.A shooter with your ability using a quality rifle like yours should be using top quality ammo.I would start with Eley Black or Ten-X or Lapua Center-X or Midas +.You might get lucky with a cheaper date like Wolf Match Extra or SK Rifle Match but the trick is to try them all.Champions Choice or Champion Shooters Supply usually has most of these brands in stock.Keep up the great shooting!

I don't know which is more impressive: your building skills or your shooting skills!  Very nice shooting, and an absolutely top drawer rifle.
