What Winchester is this stock for?

I just got a project high wall in the mail today and I am extremely pleased with the condition of just about everything.  The interesting thing is that it came with a buttstock that absolutely not a high wall buttstock.  I believe it is a Winchester stock and it definitely has Winchester trapdoor buttplate on it but I cannot figure out what rifle it goes to.  It has very long tangs and only a single screw hole.  I don't think that it has been modified in any way.  What gun does this go to?

Maybe an 1873 or 1876 depending on the measurements you have for the length of the tangs.

It might be for a 73/76 but I don't think so.  It only has a hole for ONE tang screw.  I've been spending the last few hours looking at pictures of different winchester buttstocks and they all seem to have two screw holes.  The top tang is 3.4 inches long and the bottom tang is a whopping 5.06 inches long.

Doubting it's a Winchester 1873, 1876 or 1886 stock, but is a stock that someone may have put a Win 73/76 buttplate on.
Upper tang inletting isn't proper for a 73 (upper tang is straight parallel sided rearward of the frame), or for a 76 or early 86 (both have the flare like the 1885 singleshot).
Your tang lengths (both upper and lower) don't match the lengths for the 73, 76, or the 86 either.

I'm starting to think that it is a marlin stock with a Winchester buttplate on it. Or maybe not...

The only Marlin stock that uses a longer lower tang is the Model 1889, and it's not correct length inletting for it. They also don't have the tapered tang of the stock inletting yours has.
