A great idea.  I spoke to John Dutcher about it several years ago and he admitted that he had all the pictures and just needed to write the text.  That would be the first place to start, and I am happy to approach my father and Gary Quinlan as well.  I can't say whether you could get either of them to sit in front of a keyboard for the weeks it would take to transcribe a good chunk of their knowledge, but I imagine they would give the time to be interviewed and to review a proof.

Nothing better than listening to old timers talk about the past. I'm more than willing to interview, record and transcribe.
