Variations of the Ballard rifle ...
Feb 15th, 2016 at 2:58pm
Print Post
I was painting the office this past weekend and had to empty out the safe to move it away from the wall.  Before I put everything away I took a quick photo of my three Ballard rifles.  From top to bottom ...
1) No. 6-1/2 Rigby Offhand - 28" barrel with Rigby flats; .40-65 Everlasting
2) No. 3F Gallery Rifle - 30" octagonal barrel by Schoyen; .22LR
3) No. 6-1/2 custom Ballard - 28" round barrel by A. W. Peterson; .22 LR

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

Joe,
Very, very nice Ballards! I would be proud to add any one of those to my collection!
Thanks for showing them.

My swoon was nearly as fatal as the one the Hepburn gave me.

Wow! What a fine bunch of Ballards. I am a big fan of Ballard engraving. Thanks for posting.

Would you consider posting some close-ups of the engraving on your Ballards?

Regards

That's a beautiful trio of rifles, the quality throughout is very very impressive!

I'll take all 3! Wink

Congrats, many never get to own even one as nice as any of these.

Joe that poor ole Ballard looks so embarrassed to have that lazer/light mounted on her. Cry You don't leave it on her all the time do you?
