looking for new or old wind-gauge front sight with spirit level for a remington hepburn.any place make nice copies of the originals.

I'd suggest you compare photographs of Remington rolling Block Long Range rifles with photographs of the Hepburn first. I'm not at all sure that the Hepburn had a special front sight designed for it. After all if you have a sight that's been successful on one model rifle it would pay to simply use it an another model rifle. It does away with new tooling and production expenses. 

Rifle manufacturers were not renowned for throwing money around. It could well be the same front windage sight on both rifles.

Edit. A quick Web search shows reproduction Remington sights are like hen teeth, sorry.

Check here for parts for Reproduction Hepburn windgauge front sight. All of the parts might not be available. Apertures are hard to find. I built three .

The Axtell sights are very nice, if you can find one. You might contact ssrifles here at the forum, he may be able to help you.

Jim at Distant Thunder can make just about any form of front sight inserts.
