Hi all,
Does anyone have any experience with the Lyman 1877/1878 Sharps?
I have been offered a new-in-box at a decent price.
Any opinions?
Thanks,
Dave

Keep saving until you can get a C. Sharps or Shiloh 1874, 1875 or 1877.
The old "cry once" (due to cost) thing.

I agree. While the Lyman looks nice its made in Italy. You will be much better served by either the Shiloh or c.Sharps, both in quality and in resale when that time comes.
