Original load was 3.25 gr of Curtis and Harvey No. 2 Diamond an a 37 gr bullet for the Short and 5 gr for the long. But, Charlie Dell and Gary Rogers found the following to work; 1.7 gr WW231, 3 gr WW296. These loads gave about 1 1/2 " groups at 100yds. Other powders did not fare as well. Those were Bullseye, 2400, Nitro 100, Green Dot, Red Dot, IMR4756 and AA7. This data was for the LONG and using the Lyman 225438 bullet. I hope this is of some help.
