Always testing ............... Does anyone have any opinion or facts re. these two side by side? Burn charts put them really close. I am having difficulty thinking of them as equals. The obvious difference is $$$. (I'm working with .32-20CPA & .25-20WCF.)

The only thing I've used it in is my 33 ELCO Max. I started at my most accurate #9 velocity (1473) and went up .5 gr. Both groups were 3", about 1" larger than #9.

I had high hopes for better grouping with it than #9 but, I've never gotten any powder to group as well in my catridge.

The Accurate chart, list it as the same speed as 4100, Enforcer, Lilgun, SR - 4759.  H110/296 a step slower and #9 two steps faster.

Frank,
With all due respect ............... what's the didfference between the Hodgdon product and the Vitavuori product? Which of those did you test? Both? With (weather) luck, I'll be testing tomorrow - H110 vs AA#9 in the .32-20CPA. Thanks for your input. Ray

Ray,
It was N-110. N-110 is a stick powder, it looks something like 4227. I had also tried H-110 and 300MP, also w/o success in my 33.

My small case 33 only seems to like #9.

I have used both they are very similar. The main differences are the N110 is less position sensitive but doesn’t meter in small amounts as well. If you are pre-charging and weighing your charges you will get closer results.
