Hi guys, what are you guys using to deprime at the range? I have been lugging a Small arbor press and a Wilson depriming  tool. Getting tired of the arbor press.😕

Larry,
This is what I've used for 25 years. A 6" C-clamp holds it to the bench.

It's 3 fold:

Decapper

Powder measure stand 

Spotting scope stand

I use a Lee Capper but, it can also be made to cap  on the left side of the decapper.

Ditto the CPA re and de it is comfortable small and deprimes and reprise better than any press ever made.

If you are just de-capping, here is one made of sheet metal that works for .38 and .40 calibers. Could be made for any CF cartridge.
Have a friend that makes one out of a pair of pliers that also works well.

Meacham's re decapper uses standard shell holders which makes it quite versatile.

The Meacham de-recapper I had looks nice and works well until, you have to change shell holders. Changing in cold weather at the bench can be a bugger.
Mine had to be completely disassembled to change holders.  I cut a taper on longer screws for mine, to help locate the holes for reassembly. Not period correct if that matters to you.

Nothing against Franks De-Capper it works and works well but as an assistant Schuetzen Meister I have heard several complaints on the noise / clattering and distration created by those seated in his general area when he come down to join us for a match. We have a pretty serious and dedicated group of competitors  and distractions are generally frowned upon so it maybe something to keep in mind? We had a fellow using a Wison de-capper similar to the Lee shown and everytime he tapped that thing with his little bitty hammer when someone was trying to concentrate on letting off a shot his popularity deminished very rapidly! I know everyone is generaly on a tight budget including myself but we are not the only ones who paid to enter into a match and we need to take others into consideration as well.

Here is what it looks like "loaded".

The part that holds the powder measure is threaded 7/8 x 14. It's held with a flat head 3/8 x 16 SHCS and can be positioned in any direction. For any powder measure that uses a clamp (lyman or B&M), you can place a piece of 1x2 on top of it. A longer piece for two, duplex measures.

It can be made to look a lot nicer, using blued, CRS and the alumium pieces could be anodized black.
