Does anyone know of a mould maker making a copy of the Paul Jones 32 cal.  236 gr. mould ?

I would not send anyone the drawing until you have verified it is of the proper size for your specific bore and groove dimensions as they can vary substantialy.

The groove diameter is a good point. The above PJ mold is made for a .321 groove barrel.

You can still send the drawing, as is and tell them to adjust the diameters to suit your groove diameter , either up or down (i.e. if you have a Douglas, .319 groove, reduce all diameters by .002), all lengths will remain the same. The base band diameter should work with most 32/40 or RKS throats. Most likely the Millers, too. But, if you have a freebored throat, the base band only, will need to be ajusted for that. .0005 to .002 larger than freebore.

Another thing that should be pointed out is the twist, you will need at least a 13 twist barrel to stabilize this bullet.

My PJ Spitzer casts 223 or so at 20-1.  I has the same band diameters as the drawing, but is only 1.264 long.

I modified by seater so I could use it in my 14 twist HW with a Green Mountain barrel.  I shot it in that rifle for the first time today and except for 1 shot they did not appear to be tipping.  Accuracy was fairly good, but I ran out of time before I could test a range of charge weights.   See the post about 300-MP that used my Darr style in the same setup.  I may need more powder for the PJ bullet.  Time to get casting now that the weather has cooled off.
