	The 'noise' of decapping wouldn't bother me a bit. I think if other competitors aren't disturbed by guns going off at irregular times, or somebody's breechseating activity, then that's no problem. Heck, I'm not even bothered by the fellow at the next bench shooting a .340 Weatherby with a muzzle brake. Now, those damn AKs hucking the empties on my back peeve me! I like it, Frank.

All indications of a fine shot and competitor. The best shots concentrate on the job at hand, not the background noise. Joe.

	Thanks, George, I apprecaite the words of encouragement. It can be adjusted around to suit most any bench setup. The scope can be put on the outside of the post and I forgot to say that I use Lyman decaping pins with it. I could have put a capper on the other side of the hinge but, my fingers are to fat and numb to handle single primers, even back 25 years ago. You could also make a T-bar at the top and put a extention on it for OH rest, when needed, instead of using a seperate pipe clamp. The upper and lower steel parts are 1 1/4 x 1/4 HRS but, CRS would look much better. It was just something that I put together in a hurry with the material I had on hand at the time. Frank

	Never noticed Franks decapping rig being loud. Watching the wind flags and the other rifles going off must have kept my mind off of it. His popularity certainly hasn't waned in my book, lol. Heck of a guy as far as I know. Might have to make one of them matches and shoot some straight black in my 45/70 John

	The tapping can't be any louder than Dick EEsley Breech-seating with hin Pope Breech-seating hammer. I always kind of liked hearing that think, think, think off to my right. But either hammer or lever it still only does half the job. 40 Rod
