Many of the old straight tube scopes in the common variety (and shorter length) sell around $300-$400, with standard mounts. When I refer to common, I mean the old scopes that are most often found for sale. The really rare varieties will bring a lot more, and the longer than 22" will also bring a lot more. Full length scopes in the 26"-32" lengths often bring prices in the $1500 or higher range! The longer scopes bring the highest prices.
Then there are mounts. Find an old Malcolm or Mogg scope, and it's very big money, but is they have the old vernier style mounts, the price is dramatically higher!
There are also a number of scopes built by individuals who made very few, and are very good quality! Those are tough to price, since not enough are found to set the values.
This is the Unertl scope. I was wrong on the marking, as it actually reads, "JUNERTL" not UNERTL. It is an 18" tube, and appears to be browned, not blued. The lock ring has a "6" on it, which I assume is the magnification. Many old scopes were 3x or 4x, so the Unertl is a nicer magnification.
