Look here:

(You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

His chamber cast, producted the following dimensions:

Neck dia .331
"shoulder" dia..335
Base dia..412
chamber length 1.8"

The dimensions should produce a case capacity similar to the 32/35 Stevens/Maynard. If your case yields a water capacity close to 34 - 35 gr of water, I can help you out with load data from my 32/35 loads. It's also a .308 groove.

From The Modern Schuetzen Rifle by Dell and Schwartz
1:12” twist using a 180 gr bullet cast in 20:1 uses a load of 8.2 Grains of H110 and a WLP primer.
I am assuming that this is Wayne’s load.

J.Stevens #2 is an early tip up action rifle.. center fire also made in rim fire.. many were 25-25  or 25-21 cal.. The action opens like a single shot 410 shotgun..

They also made that model in 32/35. The head would be about .402 @ .25 ahead of the rim (or the chamber will be about .411, just in front of the rim) and it will be 1 7/8 long.
