IMO, the reason that 300 MP didn't work in my short case is that it's burn rate is to slow. It has the slowest burn rate of the powders that we use. If you look at match results for the small capacity cases, most are using #9, next comes 4100, Tony's 4227 is the slowest powder that has done well in the MS. I also tried Enforcer, 4227, 296 and VV110 in my 33 but, NONE would come close to #9 in my 33 ELCO.
My 30/30 Wesson has a larger case/bore ratio than the 33 ELCO but, it dosen't like #9 (?), it didn't start shooting until I first used Enforcer. I will try 300 MP in it and see how well it does. 4227, 296 and VV110, will also get their turn.
The #9 profomance was very disappointing in my 30/30 W, as I spent 2 years finding sources of it. I got my last 2 lb in Spokane last May and now I need Enforcer/4100

PS
As I remember, your 33 RKS kind of mirrored my 300 MP results but, yours at 200 and many 3+" groups when I was there.
