Parson's Repair???????

Can someone tell me if they are still in business? This was my last correspondence to Parson's.

"I think we are going on (3) years now that you have had my Ranger(Wollensak) scope for repair. It was polished brass and sent for cleaning and assembly. I used to have your  WO# but have since lost that info. My first conversations for repair were actually with Gil. I understand that repairing this scope was not a top priority but being that it was my grandfathers, it has a lot of sentimental value, I would like it back repaired or not. Thanx."

I just want my scope back.

Gil Parsons passed away a couple of years ago and his son took over operation of the business.  I'm not sure how well he is doing with it but he seems to be very slow.  I left a couple of Super TargetSpot scopes with him over a year ago and haven't heard anything back yet, although one was supposed to be fixed very quickly.  This reminds me that I need to check in on them soon.

If I recall it correctly, Gil's son is NOT retired, and runs a construction business full time.
Was told that when Gil's health was failing (for some time), his son came in during his scarce spare time to try to help Gil when and as he was able to do so.
Since Gil passed away, haven't had reason to make contact, so you're on your own for current info.

I was told back in March 2015 that he could repair my Unertl in a month and I sent it to him.  After two months, I called to see how the work was coming and he said he was backed up for a year but would see about the scope.  It was repaired and delivered to me in late May.

FWIW:
I am pleased to tell that today I received back a
Lyman STS windage knob, repaired, after only two months total from the time of my first contact..
After my initial phone conversation with Richard, during which he gave me an estimate I sent the knob to him.
After two-three weeks he called me and verified the estimate. So, I sent him my personal check and he has
mailed back the repaired knob as promised, time, wise.
The knob had been almost entirely seized up and in trying to turn it, I broke off the metal tab 'runs the clicker. It is functioning correctly now and the replaced, silver soldered in little bar looks as new.
As said by another person, he is running a construction business full time and is doing what he can in scope repair.
So, at this time, I am pleased with his scope repair service
