Greener Martini lock screws

I have a Greener Martini I need keeper screws for.  I found a diagram that lists the parts names as: indicator keeper screw; and safety catch keeper screw.  I am having a man make the screws for me.  Both he and I are unsure if the screw heads originally had 2 cuts, or just one half moon cut in the screw head.  The ones I have had 2 half moon cuts.  Perhaps these were re-cut to fit to a different rifle.  Were the original ones like that?  Or was there just one cut when the screws were originally fitted to a particular gun?  Undecided

I must admit that I have never seen a Martini Action Rifle with any screw having more than a single screwdriver slot. Being a Brit I have seen a good number of Martini's over the past 50 or so years.

Thanks for your response Mr. Eales!  My question has to do with the half-moon shaped cuts in the head of the retaining screws, not the screw slot.  Mine have 2 half-moon cuts.  I would like to know if they were originally cut with 2 or just 1 (as I suspect).

Just one cut. The cut is so the pin can be taken out when the screw is turned to line the cut up with the pin. I have seen many without the screws and they seem to still function.
