Here are photos of my Peabody that's in the original 10.4x42mm rim fire. Maybe one day I will find a spare breech block so I can convert it to center fire and keep the original breech block intact.

contact Frank at Providence tool company/peabody rifle in Plymouth, wisconsin    he makes the drop in breech block.

I have spoken to him and will go that route if I don't find an original. I'm in no hurry so maybe an original will fall out of the woodwork...
