	next weekend is the kick-off for the 2015 season at the ASSRA Home range at Etna Green IN. it will be the first of our two 22 rimfire only matches. we will be shooting at 100 and 200 yards only----none of the 50 yard offhand matches for competition. (If we get a light turn out we might be able to move a few of the 22 backers up to 50 yards for practice--I know a couple of guys have new 22 rf offhand rifles to try out) It is when we also set the range up for the season---spring cleanup, repairing and putting up the backers etc. so there will be some work to do in the day or two before the match starts on Friday. remember this is a cash-payout event-no medals (yet???)---so bring money I plan on going down on Tuesday afternoon, (I still have too get the camper out of storage and am assuming there will be no major problems ) to start the process. so far the weather looks good, but . . . . I'm taking cold weather and rain gear-----just in case. learned that the hard way n the past. hope to see you there

	it was a really nice "shoot" weather was really nice bright and sunny cool in the morning and pleasantly shirt-sleeve warm in the afternoon. As typical @ EG it was pretty calm in the morning relays and winds picking up as the day warms up. but not near as windy as some of out other Spring 22-only matches. some good targets turned in, including a 249 100 yd Schoyen, but no new records shot. I think we had a record number of folks shooting the 100 shot (off-hand) mini-Hudson. {Scores are now posted in the match scoring section----Thanks Ken) We had 2 dozen shooters over the course of the 3 days with a max of maybe 16-18 of the 30 one-hundred-yard steel-backed 22 rf targets in use at any time.

	Yes, I agree with DW, an outstanding shoot. I would like to give a special thank you to DW, Ken Meyer and Charlie Persons for all of the hard putting this together. Also thanks to the shooters that hung in there and helped put the range in order after the shoot. Over all a great time with a great bunch of people. Dave Hammond
