Print Post
Our annual ISSA Regional event was held last Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I will post the full results when I recieve the spreed sheets. We had three competitors from the Central Sierra Scuetzen Club all whom shot their 25 caliber traditional rifles all the way through the match and they all walked away with numerous honors. Jerry Cleave took first place with his 25-20SS in any sight bench with an impressive 495-15 his second target being a 249-9 and the King Target. Jerry Hartwig took first place in the iron sight bench match with his 25WCF and he also walked away with the Bob Clark Memorial award determined by the any sight and iron sight bench agg. He also took first in the iron sight agg. bench and offhand,  first in iron offhand and third in the grand agg. Rich Davis took second in the grand agg with his 25WCF and first in the scope agg. any sight bench and any sight offhand. I am probably leaving other accomishments out as this is coming from memory and it ain't what it used to be. This is the first time in my fifteen years of shooting our regionals that all of the above honors were not taken by the use of a 32 or 33 caliber rifle and might be the sign of things yet to come. I took second in any sight bench with my 28-35 with a 495-15 and Terry Harper was third with his 33-47 also traditional style rifles. I thought some of you would find this interesting and if I missed anything Jerry Hartwig please fill in the blanks.
Again I will post all the scores when I recieve them, the match director headed to the Stars and Strips match at the conclusion of ours so it might be awhile.
