How do you remove the firing pin assembly from the breech block?

Remove the dovetailed piece from the rear of the breechblock and withdraw the striker spring.  Remove the sideplate and lift out the striker.  This for the early (USA) kits.  Later ones from Meacham had a plug at the rear of the breechblock.  Hope this helps.

Regards, Joe

The Meachem Hoch came with a wrench with two pins in it to insert into the plug.

Two finishing nails and a set of needle nose pliers works to unscrew the plug when you do not have the plug wrench.
