Picked this Wurfflein up today from proxibid auction.
Not a high bucks gun, but it looks like fun.
Anyone else have one?

I have a .22RF also; but without the forearm wood.
I guess it was the low end "gallery rifle" ???

Wurffleins are charming rifles. I have one in 32-35 Stevens Maynard and it is a pleasure to shoot with a 140 gn. cast bullet. The seller thought it was in 32-40, but I'd rather have the 32-35 S/M which was developed into the 32-40. Have fun!

Ah, yes - those Philadelphia SS's  that are sleepers!  I have 2:
* A 22LR, Ladies Model.  The one that Grant photographed and is pictured on pg 152 of his book - serial 5270
* A 38-55 that started life as an unknown rimfire. It's nice to hear that there is another one that survived that was made with no forearm - as this rifle is also.  Peep, what is the serial on yours?  Mine is 1126

The trigger pull on both are 4 lbs and within 5 oz's (9 and 13) of each other
