	Is anyone using 4227 with their 32 Miller Shorts?

	It has been tried in the past and dosen't work well. H110 and littlegun are out there and they will work better. Idealy you want 4100 or Ramshot Enforcer. 40 Rod

	I use AA # 9. This is 100yds. It can be done better. Kurt

	Charlie Dell got the best numbers over the chronograph with AA "7 with his 32 Dell (same as 32Miller). Ledball

	11.5 gr of either 4227 and a 200 +- gr bullet. Works well.

	I went to 4227 14.0 Rem 7 1/2 Hoch 210 3 groove shoots real good, and I can find this powder. Shoots to the same point of aim as my 11.7 load with 4100.

	If you have the 32 Miller Short and the 32 Dell the cases will be very close to the same length and they would be very close in case capacity. Ledball

	The 32 MS and the 32X357 Dell are virtually identical. The Dell case will fit in a Miller but not the other way around. The basic difference is that the Dell case is a straight tapered case and the miller has a double taper. I believe that when they designed instead of starting from scratch they modified a 32 Miller they shortened it and added another taper to return it to a 32 mouth on the shorter case. The one thing that I found when I did my article on all the .357 based cases I could find was the consistency of the loading data. All of the cases whether long or short had loading data that was within a 10th or so of each other. For any .357 based case you can start with published 32 MS data reduce the load about a ½ grain and work back up until you get good results with your combination of case, barrel and bullet. 40 Rod

The case length is 1.570 and I can put a 32 Miller in the same chamber. Have not shot this rifle yet but the barrel is marked 32 Dell.

	Myers, the 32 Dell is about 1.280--1.290 the Miller and the Dell case both can be formed using .357 Mag brass which is about 1.290---some use .357 Max brass thinking it is stronger. Ledball

	I now own this rifle...I suspect sometime after the 32Dell was stamped on the barrel a new reamer was introduced to the chamber...It appears to me it's now chambered in 32RKS...the brass that came with the rifle was 357 Maximum with a case length of 1.570...the action is a custom Meacham Hoch with a RKS gain-twist barrel...I'm now looking for 32RKS load data...Cheers/John

	Hi John, The 32RKS is 1.470 in length. Possible you have a 32 Miller long. Below is the reamer print for the RKS.

	RK, please educate me on the drawing. I see a datum line that is the front face of the rim. I see a forward case length from the datum line of 1.491 and I see a rim thickness behind the datum line of .059 for a total case length of 1.55. What I'm not seeing is the 1.470 except on the drawing title.
