I need contact info for the Kowa service/repair.  I have a rather old spotting scope that needs cleaning and a few minor repairs. I've been putting it off for too long now Embarrassed,  maybe its best to get it done over the winter.

2nd question,  it has a variable eye piece   If I were to search for a fixed power eye piece, what seems to give the best use?
Its strictly used for ASSRA 200 yard matches.

Hi Wayne, I have a couple of TSN-2's (Straight 77mm) and 20-60, 25, 40 and 30 WA eyepieces. The zoom is handy at times but sacrifices a bit of resolution, I prefer the 30X wide angle for all round use. Took a while to find one though (Ebay, too tight to buy a new one)  Smiley.

Most folks go with the LER (long eye relief) fixed eye pieces, which are generally around 25x. However, insure that the one you are looking at will fit your particular model, as I don't believe all eye pieces fit all models with Kowa.

I love the LER = Long Eye Relief, probably 25 or 27x depending on your model.
