I have a Lee that I bought specifically eo load .450/.577 Martini (Lee Dies).

It is very rugged and well made IMO.  Actually I have good luck with most lee products.  Price can triumph when combine with good engineering.

It's a good press design better than most,

Problem is I want to run 10 G dies for brass shot shells. 1 1/4 inch.   Some of the old Herters were 1 1/4 and new very expensive 50 BMG presses are too.

Large bore was not uncommon years ago.

Agree on the Lee Classic Cast, which is my "go to" press and accepts 1 1/4" dies. Especially like the fact that the handle can be set for either right or left side use. Have installed a set of the Hornady bayonet adapters to make swapping dies very easy and quick. Also have the Redding Boss II, which I won at a match, but would buy another Lee first. Guess we engineers prefer red Wink and the fact that they cost ~$100 on the web.

I have a RCBS Ammomaster that has a removable bushing so larger dies can be used, I don't k now the thread size but with the bushing removed it can be used with .50 BMG dies. It also looks to be strong enough to be used as a swage. I never use it as it's at my son's house and he doesn't use it either.

also a lee classic press user - great value, but more importantly it's a massive strong press and i use more than my redding t7 and rcbs rockchucker.  it has no problem reforming .45-70 primer pockets from large rifle to large pistol.  Cool

Digital

Looked at that press on line says 1 1/2 x 12 thread.  Only thing I know about 10 G Brass shell dies is what I read on CH4D's web site, refers to die outside diamater as 1 1/4 inches

Am going to call CH4D today and see exactly what thread the dies have

Opps

Missed that ref to Lee's Classic Cast. It does accept 1 1/4 inch dies and not real high priced either

CH4D confirmed the 10 G dies are 1 1/4 inch 12 thread

Thanks all
