One unaltered Martini Cadet, one half finished Martini Cadet in 218 Mashburn Bee and a beautiful custom Martini Cadet in 22 K Hornet. Pretty good weekend. My feet hurt.

I picked up a #16 Maynard with a heavy bull barrel in 32-35 Stevens. It is far from pristine but I think it will be a shooter. I saw lots of high grade guns but they were all out of my price range.

It was my 1st time there and I had a good time. Moodyholler was 1 row away from us and we visited.

Lots if super nice people and guns. Brought home a Hartford swinging block in 38XL, 1886 Winchester, and a nice print signed by Buck Taylor (Newly from Gunsmoke). Met several from the board although names escape me momentarily. Have a table same place in April 2015. Next show will be Louisville in Feb 2015. Later, mh

What kid of price are they bringing today if you don't mind my asking?   What condition?  With a top and /or spider?

I always enjoy the Tulsa show, but it is huge! John Dutcher had a Pope measure for sale at $1,500 on his table. I did manage to pick up another Ballard Pistol grip action and several spirit level sights. Good winter project to add to the list. Had the pleasure of visiting with Moodyholler at his table. Still wish I had bought his, in the white, Sharps Borchardt! Met Jim Hamilton and we visited about his left handed Hepburn and the article he wrote about it. And,of course, the ever gracious, Tony,  with his tables of beautiful singe shot rifles.
All in all, to many fine rifles, and to few dollars to back up all my wish lists!
I really did enjoy looking at all the Amoskeag  consignments from John Wills and Michael Petrovs sale coming up. Just maybe one or two..........

Ballards may be weaker,
but they sure are neater!

I have Tulsa on my bucket list! Never been there before, and my brother lives near Norman, Ok., so I could run up to Tulsa with him.
I just got back from the big Reno show, and lots of great guns there, but prices ran pretty stiff! Hepburns were all in the $4500-$6000 range, and any forged Ballard that wasn't monkeyed with was over $3600, even for plainer hunter models. My traveling partner did pick up a rare Ball and Williams brass framed Ballard for a decent price though.
