Instructions as to how to post pictures.

     Hi All:

     How may I post pictures on this site?

      I have a digital canera and a computer but no knowledge.

After you log in and have the text box for posting a reply or starting a new thread, right below the text box is a note Attachment 1:, just to the right of that is a box Browse... that will allow you to navigate to where your photo is located on your computer. The prompts are all there for attaching photos, you just need to go through them one-by-one. There are also requirements as to photo file size etc.
It only involves a few more steps than posting a text-only reply.

My pictures program has an edit photo feature that allows for resizing pictures.  I use the "web small" option that works well here.  I need to resize the photo before I attempt to post it.  If you try to preview your post with the photo attached I think the photo is somehow deleted so just do the post and if you don't like it you can modify or delete and try again.
