Forgot how light these Cadets are.  Was wondering about the SS barrel until I took the forend off.  It loads so tight that I have to drop the lever more with my finger, but it loads and chambers fine.  Someone did a good job on this one.  Redfield target sight.  My other 30-30 to compare.

<the Handi has an older Huntsman stock for those interested>

Stainless steel barrel?  Finger? huh? New to the language?

Oh, now I got ya, pretty sure.  Had to get away and think about it for a while.

Nice rifles.  Someone removed the blue on the barrel? You thought it was stainless?
