I am making up some lube with lanolin. Anyone have any tips for handling and measuring that stuff? It is the stickiest stuff I have had to deal with.
Thanks!

A little heat will do it, melting point, I believe, is 100 degrees or so.

Yes heat..I use a large spoon & very low flame of butane micro torch..careful not to let overheat & smoke.  I use an extra RCBS scale measure pan zeroed out on my electric scale..lanolin doesn't need to be completly melted..just so it slides..I play flame gently on bottom of scale pan as I pour into mix get it all.

I simply put wax paper on the scale, spoon out until weight is correct and the scrape off the paper and into the pot then do the same with spoon putting it back into the container.
