Talked to Tom earlier this week. He had been at Baltimore. He said the Books were tied up by customs. They were finally released and shipped to his connection where they will be shipped from. He said that he had just started to cash the checks recieved in the early order process. He said I should be seeing mine in the next week or so. SOooooo there is hope.
Regards, FITZ.

I had the distinct pleasure of visiting with Mr. Rowe at his assigned display location at the Maryland Antique Arms Collectors' show this past weekend.
His work product is, as you might expect, excellent and very well researched and documented and presented in a two volume set.
Mr. Rowe is an excellent resource on Harry M. Pope and I was provided with heretofore unknown information regarding Mr. Pope's business activities during the post west coast fire and the extent of Pope's losses during that period.
Thanks Tom for all of your hard work and your accomplishments in your recent publication.

Got mine today. Yes, they are big books and very nice. It will take awhile to digest all the nice rifles and read all the information.

I got mine yesterday, spent the rest of the day just looking and trying not to drool on the pages. The depth of information is amazing. It's going to take me about 6 months to realy take it in.
Yes you can buy the set from Tom Rowe $250 is the price now and worth every penny.

What is the ratio of text to pictures in the books? I very much like pictures of original rifles, but it's the information that would interest me most.
Nice pictures usually tempt me into another rifle purchase that I don't really need
