Bullet base edge

In my quest for precision (accurate) bullet casting, I'm working on two calibers - .405 Win and now the .375 Win.

Threw about 100 .375 Reading (a tapered bullet) 300gr bullets - +/- 1 grain (which fall remarkably into two groups - hmmm).  (30:1 mix cast at just above 700dF)

So I dip lubed them and pushed them through the Lee .378 sizer and noticed a little trailing edge around the base; so I bumped them a little in my .379 H&I die - resulting in a clean sharp edge.

Haven't fired any yet, but I liked the regularity and sharpness of the edge.
