Hoch Mold

Just cast 105 bullets with a 38cal Hoch mould had not used before. Have to say that it casts a great bullet. Great looking, very uniform bullets. Also casts faster than any of my other moulds. ~90min for 105 bullets is great and the weight was 314gr +/- 0.3. Five bullets to get the mould up to temp and get rid of the wrinkles and first six good bullets were about 0.5gr light and then off to the races. Hope it shoots as good as it casts. 765F with 20-1.

I know what you mean about casting fast.  Once my Hoch moulds get up to temperature I have to go very fast.  Definitely a faster pace than when using my .45 cal moulds with Saeco blocks.

Indeed. Am starting to think am going to give the Hoch 377350 a try. Am guessing my casting productivity is up by about 50%, which I like. For me, casting is a chore that needs to be done in order to shoot, so the faster it goes the better I like it.
