Book can only be written off if you are an original Hepburn owner.

Going to shoot a couple silhouette matches with the Hepburn to compare to the High Wall before deciding. Will know by the end of April.

Tom Rowe's Hepburn book is definitely a good read, with a great deal of information and excellent pictures.
It doesn't answer all the questions, but a good book doesn't, instead propelling you forward to investigate further.
Thank you, Tom!
And Tony (ssrifles), thank you for handling the details to get the book to my door!

Mine just arrived by USPS today, Christmas eve. What a great present for Christmas eve. I will be in front of the fireplace tonight with Tom's book and Baileys Irish Cream. Maybe a little single-malt scotch for later in the evening. Doesn't get any better!
My thanks to Tom Rowe for a fine book and Tony for his help, plus some fine rifles I have bought from him! While I am at it, my thanks to Dave Crossno, gunsmith & stockmaker extraordinaire! Best to these fine gentleman.
Regards
Richard

Oh yes, I have a decent example in 32-40 with double sets.
Maybe I'll find it's serial number in the book.

FWIW: e-media are full of stories/complaints about "" failures" from FedUP and USPS to some extent.
It appears that the unusually heavy parcel-delivery load due to the compressed time between Thanksgiving and Christmas and non-typically late shopping and shipping combined with the recent winter storms have REALLY screwed up parcel shipping from the east coast, especially the Northeast.
It looks like FedUP is resorting to using the USPS as final stage delivery in many areas. several of my recent e-purchases were handled by FedUP to "local delivery service" (As per the vendors tracking data) and delivered by my local PO letter carrier. I have at least one maybe more that I expected to be able to wrap and put under the family tree yesterday that may show up today or later. And that's in spite of seeing FedUP trucks all over town until very late Christmas Eve

We're headed to the post office to pick up mail, this afternoon. Forgot I had mail held at the PO. My Hepburn book should be there. Christmas after Christmas.
Joe.

I just got back from the range, doing some .22 ammo testing, and the book was on my porch. There will be serious reading tonight!
