Loading the 22 WCF

I just bought a Low Wall in 22 WCF so now I'll have to learn to load for it.  I was surprised that my search on here didn't lead to anything.  Would someone suggest a few places to start? What have I gotten myself in for?

Not to worry, the 22 WCF is basically the 22 Hornet. The major difference is that the Groove diameter is .228, instead of .223. You can use Hornet brass and you may be able to lap a Hornet die out to neck size cases.

You should be able to use any of the cast bullet 22 Hornet loads. Your velocity and pressure should be a little lower because of the .005 larger groove dia.

Molds for this caliber come up a few times a year on Ebay and if you post on the For Sale/Trade section, someone on the forum may have one. The most common mold is the Lymam/Ideal 228367 (59 gr), they also made a 22835 in many weigths (29 - 78 gr). The 22 Savage High Power used the same groove size, also.

Not to worry IF you've got the know-how, time, & inclination, to cast perfect .228 bullets.  I bought one of these in my salad days on the mistaken assumption (encouraged by the seller, naturally) that it was "the BP Hornet," discovering later that important difference in bore diameter, & that jacketed bullets were unavailable.
