What is an adequate twist for 85 to 100 gr bullets in the 25-20 Win?

Thanks

A 1-10 twist will stabilize anything you will be shooting.

I use a 10 twist Douglas XX with my 120 grain Mos bullet. At 1660 fps it shows no signs of tipping at 200 yards. It also shoots pretty good, if I keep my head on straight.

I am using a Smith gain twist barrel it ends in a 1 : 91/2" twist. It stabilizes the Mos 120 Gr. bullet well.

40 Rod - Haven't started casting with my 120gr Mos as of yet. Any tricks to doing so with so small a bullet? What alloy are you using? Thanks.

I am using 1 : 20 it shoots very well. As far as tricks all molds have their own personalities. My experience is that I had to decrease my pot temperature a little and cast a little faster that I do with my 32s. The key is to balance 3 things. To get the temperature so that you can cut the sprue without tearing, have it drop from the mold consistently, and have the weight of each bullet be within .02 of a grain from start to finish. Keep good notes once you find the right combination.

I'll have to get a better scale - something that will resolve to 0.01 grain at least.

I'm good with the 20:1 and also have some 16:1, but the 0.02gr is a bit tight on my scale. Unless I upgrade (which I'm probably going to do - another $130 gone), it will have to be 0.1gr.
Thanks.
