Does anybody  know if the ejector spring screw on the front end of the receiver block has to be removed first, or at all, in order to remove the barrel on a Winder coil type mainspring action???

I take everything off a receiver before removing the barrel, just on general principle.  I put a piece of aluminum in the breech block mortise before I put my action wrench on it.
