CPA stocks

Will CPA butt-stocks fit original Stevens 44-1/2 receivers without hand fitting?  Probably not, I imagine, due to Stevens manufacturing irregularities, but I'd like to know for sure.  (Emailed this question to CPA; no response.)

CPA action is about 1/8 larger than Stevens 44 1/2. However CPA cuts a lot of 44 1/2 stocks.  I think Paul was in the stock business before CPA.
