Was a Good Day Buying Rifles ...

Eight single shots for $600.  All are antique 80% or better with a Stevens 44 I ball park at 90-95%.  All bores are good with the Stevens 44 that's mint.  Some have minor missing parts, no big deal replacing and one was buggered but I wanted it - a Wurfflein

* Hopkins and Allen Military Scout - 22LR.  This is the rarer one with the Indian head on the left side of the receiver
* Stevens Little Scout, 14 1/2 - 22LR
* Stevens 44 - 25 Stevens CF
* Stevens 44 1/2 - 22LR
* Edit: Stevens 44 1/2 - 22LR
* Stevens #12 Marksman - 22LR
* A Belgium FL 22 Long that I have no idea what to call it.  Cock the hammer and then grab 2 flat side levers on the side of the action, that are connected and the extractor is connected to a sliding block that slide out on the flat top of the action.  Nice wood - finger lever and checkered
Found a picture - this be the rifle!  Smiley ...

*  The Wurfflein is buggered.  Believe it was an original Damascus Shot Barrel Breech with Extractor.  The cylinder extractor is missing (issue) and the chamber has no forcing cone cut.  The chamber is 0.590 in diameter

Further investigating & work to make it a shooter ... best option I believe is to try to contact the owner of the Shot Barrel on pBase.  Another additional contact help - Greatly Appreciated

Sounds like you did good. This one, ( * A Belgium FL 22 Long that I have no idea what to call it.  Cock the hammer and then grab 2 flat side levers on the side of the action, that are connected and the extractor is connected to a sliding block that slide out on the flat top of the action.  Nice wood - finger lever and checkered) sounds like a Flobert.

Yes - after the post did some searching ... it's a Flobert Rook Carbine, exactly per the catalog picture and the action.  This a new make for me

Cool! I've been on a gun buying hiatus of late, fun to hear of others buys.

You only listed 6, what are the other 2?

Jeff, number 7 is the Wurfllein listed under the pictures of the Folbert.  Determined it is a 32ga shotgun

And the missing #8 is is another 22 LR Stevens 44 1/2.  This one is missing the forearm - edited the OP for it

All in all - it was a Very Good Day.  Next objective is to find the missing parts and get the Wurfflein in shooting condition

I am sure buying my guns in the wrong place. Don't you know stealing is against the law?
