WW Greener birmingham on one side and SACorp ridgeway N.J. on other. any info appreciated, barrel never finished looks like an abandoned project rifle .Any advice and suggestions welcome and any info on it too.

An internal mic and a chamber cast would seem to be called for.  Damn, what a find!  The only thing you see at gun shows out here anymore are endless racks of old military bolt guns and AR platforms up the wazoo.  I've stopped going I got so tired of the gun store commandos.  I mean, I used to be a professional people shooter.  These amateurs get on my last nerve.

Torpedoman,

If it has the original Greener barrel it should be proofmarked at the Birmingham Proof House, in England, and the calibre should be stated amongst the stampings. However, if it has been rebarreled in the USA there won't be any Proof Marks although I would still expect to find a calibre marking on it.

Greener was a mass volume producer of Martini Actions and made many variants based on the action from rifles to shotguns to harpoon projectors.

Greener had a lovely building in the gun quarter of birmingham city. it was pulled down to build a road , an absolute act of vandalism if ever there was one.
With a nice piece of walnut shaped in the classic british style and the lovely colour of the action, you could have a real keeper right there.

Actions like these were being imported back in the late 60s or so. I had one (with slight engraving) that I had plans to make a rifle out of. Got as far as having the firing pin hole welded and reduced (it was large for a shotgun - Greener trap comes to mind) but managed to trade it off before it got farther along. I'm thinking it was Navy Arms that was bringing them in. Weren't they out of New Jersey?

SACorp is probably Sarco. I would say the barrel is not original, or it has been turned down considerably.
A nice find this side of the Altantic even if it was a surplus company import.

It would be a nice piece in a usable rimmed cartridge that doesn't make massive pressures , the .303 brit would be ideal imho.

the bbl is unmarked and un finished looks lke a project someone started and put on back burner years ago will have to try to find out what caliber it is.
