If it is indeed an original Pope you would be better served to contact Gary Quinlan for a knowledgeable quote on what it's worth. 

What you paid for it is irrelevant and personnel. If it is indeed a Pope and a collector needs one to finish of his loading kit and or Pope tool collection it is worth a substantial amount of money.

Your measure is in nice condition. It is like most of them, it is missing the spider mount.  I have been looking for one for a while.  Amoskeag and Little John's auctioned a couple of them 2 years ago. Here are auction pictures. Prices ran 1800.00 -2200.00 if I remember right.

The tables in the shooting hall are pitted curiously with countless holes. One wonders; but when the sharpshooter screws his powder measure into the surface of the table the phenomenon is explained.
