	John Boy, That a beautiful original RB but, I think that it's a #2. How is the bore in it? If good, I bet it will be awesome shooter. The rifle in the middle of this picture is a 1 1/2. You can see the difference at the rear of the frame. The 1 1/2's are approx. 1.13 wide and use the standard #1 breech block that is approx. .720 wide. Frank

	a roller rifle with the angle on the rear of the frame is a #2 as is the frame for yjr pistol and the #7 riflr built on the pistol frame The 1, i 1/2s 4s, & 5s are all square cut at the butt rnd of the frame the OP rifle is clearly a #2. anyone know what a #3 looks like?

	Well DUH!!! guess I never heard of it being called that. did they have a number for the under lever Walker versions-- least I think they were Walkers

	Gents, my expertise for RB Sporting rifles is limited because I only have the military ones. My source to say it's a 1 1/2 is the Blue Book Gun Values because of no mention of a 32-20 CF for the #2's. * Here's what I overlooked ... "rear of the frame is curved". Yep, mine is too - it's a No 2! Details: * The first 5" of the bore is rough. Presume from mercuric primers. The rest of the bore is very good * Original sights * Barrel length = 26 1/4" * Receiver width = 1" * Straight extractor * OAL = 40" * Weight = 6 lbs 2 1/8 oz * Trigger pull = 4lbs 10oz Loaded 50 rounds and shot 4"-7" groups at 50 yds. Sadly, I picked the day there were tornado winds in NJ and my wind gauge said 48 mph @ 2 o'clock shooting 100gr bullets with 4198 powder which I think stinks. Probably 1/2gr of unburned sticks in the bore Plus I was having a terrible time seeing the front blade sight

	The rifle is a #2, not a 1 1/2.

	This rifle looks like a good one to have the barrel lined. Had two rifles lined now with the TJ liners and both shoot very well. Struggling to shoot a fine old rifle with a bad bore takes some of the fun out of it for me so liners have been my way to go. Not sorry at all that I did. Got one in 22 LR for my Stevens 44 and one in 32-40 in my Browning-Winchester low wall. Check with John Taylor or Craig Rittenhouse. They both do very good work with liners. Sendaro
