Need Info: German "R.Eckhardt Bielefeld" KK Sport

Hello, first post here.  I've been into single shots since the 80's.   Sorry, but, I have an obscure Kleinkaliber I'm trying to further identify.

I have an "R.Eckhardt Bielefeld" model KK Sport waiting to be exported from Germany (to the US).  It's a .22lr.

So, I'm thinking this is a small gunmaker in Germany.   Not a company, but, an old world weapons craftsman.  But I can't find nothing on this person/gunsmith/gunmaker.   The serial number is North of 300 so he's made others.

I've asked major waffen houses in Germany and nobody has heard of this (my gun dealers are all in the previous West Germany section).   But, most of those contacts are 30-somethings and may not know who the craftsmen were in the 1950's - 1960's.

I have 2 Weihrauch HW-52 and this looks slightly different.  I know what a Haenel KK Sport looks like (and I think the action is slightly different).   But it shares the "KK Sport" model name (although that could have been common in Germany at the time).

Has anybody heard of the gunmaker in Germany?  The German seller bought it from an gunshop Estate (in Germany).

I'm stumped!

I cannot provide any assistance with your question but I could not resist telling you that, that surely is one very nice looking rifle and I hope it shoots as well as it looks and congratulations on your new purchase.

I suggest you PM feuerbixler she posts here and is in Munich Germany. She knows quite a number of the German makers.

Hmm, I wonder if she knows my friend Jürgen who lives in Offinger  (my mistake, it is the city of) Offigen (in Bavaria).   He travels in that area at clubs to buy airrifles (then sells them).

Thanks all!

You wrote "Offinger". This town doesn't exist in Germany. Probably you mean "Offingen"?

I just came home from a zimmerstutzen match in the region of Offingen, but I think I don't know a guy called Jürgen who deals with airrifles...

This name "R.Eckhardt Bielefeld" is probably only a dealer's name, not the gunsmith or gunmaker. Or it might be also only the owner's name.

If you want to know, if there was 50 years ago a rifle-store with this name in Bielefeld, you might ask the chamber of commerce at Bielefeld. Maybe they have old lists or paperwork and can tell you more.
