I am purchasing a C Sharps 1885 Highwall 45-70 sporting model with 30" #1 heavey barrel. I will only be target shooting and hunting with it. My question is... Do I need the single set trigger our does the rifle come with a decent trigger on it?

Get the set trigger. You wont regret it. Especially when shooting targets.  Better to have both.  If I were hunting, I'd use the set trigger too.
