Anyone used the services of Al Story at Borchardt Rifle Corp in Silver City, NM? He has started rifling his own barrels and is offering them at a good price per the latest BPC News.

I also received an article that will be in an upcoming Journal. Al has been around the gun building barn a few times and has proved himself a more than competent workman. Everything that I have gotten from Borchardt has been right. The test results that Ken has achieved is impressive. I would consider Borchardt for a barrel project. One of these days I'll finish all the projects that I have ahead of that.

Good to see and read. I've ordered one of Al's new barrels for the 25 WCF Low Wall that is under-going a restoration. 28" long full octagon Win #2 profile with a 1-in-10" twist. Should be just the ticket for 200yd Schuetzen.

The things I have seen or tested from Al with regards to my old assignments for the SSR Journal have been top drawer quality, and he is a great guy to boot.  I wouldn't hesitate to buy any of his products.
