Has anyone heard of a barrel maker by the name of Eldon Montgomery?
The Ballard I picked up has a barrel on it marked with his name.

Hi Mike,Eldon Montgomery was a well known barrel maker from Rogers,Arkansas.He was known amonst the schuetzen shooters in areas of Arkansas,Missouri,Kansas and Louisianna.Best known for his accurate shooting .25 caliber barrels although I've heard of other barrels he made in different calibers.I currently have one of his .25 barrels.Unfortunately,he passed away several years ago.  Fritz
