Has anyone used the 38cal Hoch 350gr or BACo 360gr 38cal molds? If so, were you happy with the results? What barrel length and twist did you use? What cartridge and load? Hate to spend $125, or more, plus shipping if it is not going to work in 28" long, 1-in-15" twist 38-56 barrel. Also, the Hoch mold is 0.377" and I size to 0.377" and would prefer 0.378". But, I'm new to this game and can easily be convinced that 0.377" will work. Thanks.

shoot as cast instead of sizing if breech seating. Saves time and keeps the taper if it is a breech seat bullet mould (tapered).

SSShooter are you going to be using it for 200yd Target work and if so send me an e-mail at johnlouis123@att.net and I will send you some load data for the below bullet in a 28inch 18 Twist Douglas Barrel with .3756 Groove dia. it should work in your 15 twist also as stated below.

What is the groove diameter for your barrel?

Hoch 38 Schuetzen
.376" x .368" tapered for breech seating
1.21" long
310 grains
suitable for .38-55, .38-56, etc.
14" - 18" twist
