PARKER HALE PH7A REAR SIGHT ??

I know of a PARKER HALE PH7A REAR SIGHT with a adjustable aperture eyepiece for sale in excellent condition  .   He is asking  $120.00 is that a fair price ??

E-bay sales over the last five years have been around $70 without the mounting screws and with a single aperture.

The adjustable aperature is worth about $30 to $40 and the screws at least $5.

So $120 is only slightly high for average condition but reasonable for excellent condition.

If it's the 6-hole eyepiece, I'm with Dave.  If it's either a Parker Hale or Merit adjustable iris eyepiece on the sight, the price is very fair.

Another consideration, PH (as well as BSA) sights are not all that common. I looked long and hard for a #8 BSA, finally found one on Flea Bay, turned out to be not inexpesive.

The BSA #8 averages around $125 on E-Bay. Prices can fluctuate more for these since there is frequently more demand for this sight since it is used on more rifles.
