The Buffalo Arms Company (BAC) is expected to move into 21 st. Century technology in the very near future, by adopting and installing a "Real Time" on-line catalog ordering system.

Accordingly, the persistent question of whether or not BAC has in stock and available for immediate shipment those items reflected in their on-line catalog will be henceforth solved for on-line purchasers.

It is hoped and would seemingly flow that their revised and updated software will be via a secure server in order to protect their purchasers' payment vehicle information, whether that be credit or debit cards, Pay-Pal accounts or E-checks.

Thanks Dave, this is a positive step which will benefit both BAC and us, your customers.

It appears that the B.A.C. web site up-grade is in full progression right about now.  They are promising Monday, 25 April 2011, as the first day of their new real time inventory/ordering system.

Congratulations to Buffalo Arms Co. on a job well done.

The new first edition of real time web catalog and on line ordering system from BAC is up and running this morning and it is beyond my expectations after having limped along with the replaced system for so long.

Dave, you have done a tremendous favor for your customers and for your company.  Keep up the good work and we'll see you on the line.

Best regards,    Wink

Buffalo Arms has a great stock of items for the single shot lovers and a new efficient electronic order system sure helps speed up delivery to us.

Unfortunately Joe (Westerner) still likes paper. I guess he will have more time to contemplate when his package will arrive. More time to dream about what he ordered.

We appreciate Buffalo Arms who successfully tries to be current and provide support to their customers, including exporting to us Canadians.

You can say that again!

The new site is nice, although I was happy enough with the old one.  I usually found that I'd recieve back ordered stuff within a month of placing the order anyway.  Since I place orders with them quite frequently I get a constant supply of stuff arriving  Grin

Hopefully one day they'll be able to send brass up here again.

Chris.

My experiences with BACo have all been excellent. An error on a back-ordered item was corrected immediately with great service. They'll keep my business with service like that!

I agree being able to see the stock status is nice but..........I got an email yesterday saying my order had shipped on 5/2 looked up the tracking number and it says usps has been notified on 5/4 to expect a package for shipment.
Seems to be a disconnect in their system.

    Skull Kat

You may want to give those nice folks at B.A.Co. a leg-up on what you've experienced as a help to them.

I guess any new system is bound to have a few bugs to be worked out.  If you call, speak to Chris,  .   .   .   ., I'm sure he would appreciate your help.         Wink

I am happy to see the inventory status shown on the site.  Previously the lack of that information lead to more than a few feathers being ruffled including mine.  As a result they were way down on my list of vendors, I only went there when I had to.  That said they do provide a valuable service to all of us single shot and black powder shooters and I am grateful for that.
