I wish to rebarrel a 45/70 Ruger #1 to a 28-30 cartridge, will there be a problem with the ejector? Thanks for your answer, Hank45

The Ruger 45-70 uses a different extractor/ejector than most.  They are spring loaded to the side, so are somewhat self adjusting, but going from 45-70 down that far may give problems.  Brownells carries one for the 218 Bee that should work for you.  #780-000-371
