metal tip on forearm

Any one know where I can get a metal tip for the end of a forearm and what  is the official name  of such a part.  It is going on a set of wood for a hepburn ( I know it ain't original, but nothing else on the gun is either)

I think you are referring to a nosecap. I think what you want is a poured tin or pewter nosecap, which has to be cast on the wood. If you do a search on youtube for tin or pewter nosecap, I think someone has a video on how to do it. Joe S

Treebone has the ones for the Rem. rolling block which should be right for a Hepburn. (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

You might also try King Machine (406) 755-5352
They list a "Remington med. sized nose cap", and also make replacement Hepburn lever springs.

Have used the one from Treebone. It works well for a #3 barrel.
